Amaro Caligiuri

This project was an exploration of packaging design for a hypothetical amaro brand: Amaro Caligiuri. Amaro is a category of Italian herbal liqueurs, typically drunk neat as a digestif. The brand was named for my great grandparents Theresa and John Caligiuri, both second-generation immigrants from southern Italy, with a photo of John featured on the bottle’s label.

The repeating flower motif was first sketched by hand and then digitized in Adobe Illustrator, while the final design and mockup were created in Photoshop.
